100 years of expertise in precision mechanics

 

  • 1924
    The Rosemboom family establishes the company Métaux Emboutis. Based in Herstal (Luik), the company operates workshops for bending, press welding, punching, and laser cutting. It manufactures parts in small and medium series with a team of 15 people.
  • 1972
    Étienne Bonne Fortune founds EBF MECA, a machining, bending, welding, and assembly workshop. The company produces precision welded mechanical equipment in small and medium series with a team of 30 people.
  • 1986
    The establishment of the company Sous-Traitance Industrielle – STI in Liège, specializing in machining.
  • 1996
    STI is acquired by Claude Goffinet.

  • 2000
    STI acquires and manages three operating sites in Brazil with 750 employees, manufacturing steering columns for the automotive sector, and two other high-volume turning companies in France with 140 employees.
  • 2004
    STI acquires Bemelca, consisting of 25 people, and establishes STI Roumania with 30 people, specializing in stamping, welding, and milling. It also establishes a structure of 5 people in Poland, specializing in milling.
  • 2016
    MEBF MECA is acquired by Grégory Pelzer. The company faces several obstacles to its development: the site has become too small and the team is too limited.
  • 2020
    Métaux Emboutis is acquired by Grégory Pelzer, and MEBF is created.

  • 2022
    MEBF has a technical office and workshops for machining, bending, laser cutting, pressing, welding, and assembly on a 7,000 m2 site. MEBF manufactures parts in small and medium series. 

    STI has a complete machining site: milling, turning, welding, and assembly, covering an area of 3,000 m2 located in Hauts-Sarts, Liège, with a team of 20 people.

  • 2023
    MEBF and STI establish the group BELGIAN WEAPONS MACHINING to offer a comprehensive cutting-edge service in the manufacture of weapon assembly parts.
